Some of our clients have reported that when printing the Annual Financial Statements from Excel with the draft watermark switched on, the watermark is displayed over the text.

This is not happening on all the pages/worksheets, but mostly on the balance sheet and notes.

The problem was first reported to us after the Microsoft Office Suite 2007 Service Pack 1 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936982) was released.

One of our clients has confirmed for us that those staff members that have installed the service pack are having this problem whilst the others are not.

This is an example of what it will look like when printed:

From the AutoMate toolbar select View > Marked Items > Hide all marked items
Click on the Office Button and select Save As > PDF
In the window that appears click on the Options button
In the Options Window select Entire Workbook
Click on the Ok button
Make sure the option Open file after publishing is ticked
Click on the Publish button
Wait a moment whilst the PDF document is created.
The AFS will open as a PDF file which you can then print with the Watermark showing behind the text.

After installing Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2, which became available via Windows Update this evening (28 April 2008), the problem described above no longer occurs.
